Atoka Drinking Water Advisory RESCINDED

Following the precautionary water advisory issued yesterday for parts of the Atoka water system, bacteriological testing has indicated that there was no contamination of the water supply due to the water main break in the Munford water system. Independent testing, conducted after the break yesterday, confirms the safety of the drinking water supply. The advisory notice regarding boiling water has been rescinded for all customers of the Atoka water system.
 
Focus Area : Customers north of Atoka-Idaville Road, including Kimbrough Avenue

Following the precautionary water advisory issued yesterday for parts of the Atoka water system, bacteriological testing has indicated that there was no contamination of the water supply due to the water main break in the Munford water system.
