Update Regarding your Town of Atoka Water Bill

We typically read around the 5th of every month depending on weekends and holidays. This gives the customer on average a 30-day bill cycle.....
 





Example:

  • This bill cycle is 44 days long, not 35 like it is stated. Some reasons contributing to this error: The Towns billing software will only import two dates. The last billing cycle ended on 5/7/19 for this customer. I know this from the previous bill. This bill runs through 6/19/19. The date printed on the bill, 5/15/19, is the date the meter replacement (MR) took place in the billing software. So, the billing cycle for this customer actually ran from 05/07/19 to 06/19/19, which is 44 days.


 

  • This bill also shows both the previous reading on 5/7/19, which was 5381 to the final reading on the old meter, which was 5402. When you subtract the two amounts it is 21; and then when you add the 21 to the usage reflected on the new meter of 63, the total usage is 84----which is 8,400 gals for 44 days.
